Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Benefits
Telus Health provides your behavioral health and substance abuse benefits, with a network of over 17,000 inpatient and outpatient providers nationwide. You are eligible the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
YOUR BENEFITS
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
All ONI employees and their dependents can receive, free of charge, when using a BHS provider:
- One initial assessment.
- Up to three counseling sessions per unique problem, at no charge.
- Eligible from date of hire.
Extended Coverage for Mental Health
Covered at 80% of approved charges, subject to calendar year deductible.
Covered at 100% of approved charges, subject to calendar year deductible.
Important
All benefits are subject to medical necessity review and approval by Telus before, during or after treatment. You must receive prior approval from Telus before treatment to ensure benefit eligibility – without approval, benefits may not be paid. Call Telus before receiving treatment so they can help schedule a face-to-face assessment with a network provider.
